Terms of Sale & License

Plain terms for a plain product — including how the current EU and UK sales restriction works.

1. The product

Organiee is desktop software for macOS, delivered as a download with a serial key. The free tier requires registration (name and email) and issues a serial that lets you plant up to 100 Trees and create up to 10 Rooms in total. The paid license removes those ceilings.

2. Where we sell

The free version of Organiee is available worldwide. Paid licenses are currently sold worldwide except to billing addresses in the European Union and the United Kingdom; checkout enforces this. We expect to open those regions as the product grows — you can join the waiting list to be notified.

3. License

Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Organiee on up to 5 Macs you own or control (the free tier covers 1). The license covers the current generation of Organiee, including all updates within it. A future generation, if one ever exists, may be a separate paid upgrade. Your license never expires and never converts to a subscription. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Organiee, redistribute it, or resell serial keys.

4. Your data

Everything you create with Organiee is stored on your machine and belongs to you. Reading, searching, and exporting your existing forest are never license-gated. If you deactivate or lose your license, your data remains fully readable.

5. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in US dollars. Depending on your country, applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be added at checkout or may be your responsibility to declare locally. The exact amount, if any, is shown before you pay.

6. Delivery and refunds

Serial keys are delivered by email immediately after payment.

Because Organiee is a digital product, purchases are non-refundable once the serial key has been issued, except as stated below.

If the software fails to run on a supported system and we cannot resolve it, we will refund your purchase within 14 days of the order. Contact us and we will be reasonable — we are one person, not a policy engine.

7. Warranty and liability

Organiee is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Please keep backups — Organiee stores your forest in plain files precisely so that you can.

8. Consumer rights and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you additionally keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence, including your statutory rights regarding digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms reduces them.
